Just days before his passing, Michael celebrated his wedding anniversary with his wife, Jessica, and their young daughter, Oakley — the center of his world. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and his devotion to them was evident in everything he did. Michael’s kindness, humor, and radiant spirit made every space brighter; his presence was a reminder of how compassion and creativity can leave lasting imprints on those we love.
Beyond his culinary achievements, Michael was deeply admired for his leadership and dedication to his professional work. His journey with Fresno Housing reflected his unwavering commitment to service and community. Over the past 19 years, he held several key leadership roles, including Director of Real Estate Development & Property Management, and most recently, Chief Real Estate Officer. Michael played an instrumental role in developing thousands of quality, affordable housing units throughout Fresno County, overseeing investments exceeding $600 million. His work improved countless lives and will continue to shape communities for generations.
As Fresno Housing once celebrated his appointment as Deputy Executive Director, today we honor his legacy with deep respect and gratitude. Michael embodied integrity, vision, and compassion — qualities that defined both his professional achievements and his personal relationships.
